well, well, well

look what i found - ok it dont show people we got brains - but neither does having a dude like steven hawkins can do that - and neither could superman prove we have friends, can be popular or even (yes ignorant peeps out there who talk to them who push the chair lol...prepare to be shocked) that we can speak.

http://www.wheeliechix-chic.com/

ok, the models are gorgeous, yet gorgeous in a 'real life way' like girls aloud before they got too thin as a rake, not 'kate moss yeah right' kind of way.Hello..we want gorgeous birds modelling for us - to show us and everyone we are ladies - we just sit down in wheelchairs/scooters as well as sitting down on settees and cars - the big deal is...what?

ok some people may assume we are not 'real ladies because the assume we cant have sex, if we do, not able to do much' - 'well hello - and you can tell this without being intimate with ladies out of chairs how????? '

I aint never gonna be getting out there in me underwear in me chair, unless it was to scare devos away because they mistake me stretch marks for tiger claw marks and are scared i would batter them because i'm a lion tamer and would batter them :emoticon-0165-muscle:  )

Yet thats ok - this is what clothes are for.

Devos ###### off - and buy yaself a chair and enjoy looking at yaself in the mirror - because your the only person in a chair whose going to enjoy you...heck off and perv somewhere else.

If you are not aware, one of our members has started her own company that provides clothing for disabled women; not unlike the website you provided. Here's Angela's links, her designs; dresses, tops, etc. are quite beautiful!

i popped on here after going into pm to get me a mail adress and checked up on me thread here...I thought you would have known about this Mellowgator, i was keeping it quiet lol....

As you have wrote it on here now, yeap its LeahC whose modelling. Its her whom kindly shared this with me as I real respect her confidence and although i didnt talk with her on forum,I saw her on a tv show and thought 'this is one cool lady', and above all - the inspiration and confidence boost i needed to dress as I did before me crip-el-don days.

So the credit for this goes all to Leahc. She was too shy to put this up herself, so i asked her permission to do so. Never mind, I'm glad it was you whom 'outed' her on here mellow...i think she deserves to have her work appreciated.

Thanks I know of Ang's site, I saw her on facebook before i knew this place existed, as stunning and beautiful as she is, I felt it was more usa than uk - and maybe you have more positive press over there so it didnt give me the push i needed. Plus Ang is very - to me in me eyes - long leggy model stunner far away from me an everyday bird. I aint no Leahc thats for sure, yet with her edge, attitude and down to earth personality it shows thorough and this is achievable. Leahc also models sexy stuff too i saw her write on forum and wore on them on tv, too adventourous for me that look is. She can do both looks as seen on tv show 'snog,marry,avoid'..and thats a rare artistic model talent she has - to carry off more than 1 type of look.

wheeliechix to me is more of the 'usual everyday fashion' website i like - ok theres chairs in it, yet this feels more 'everyday' fashion, and realistic stuff...more 'Miss selfridge/oasis/house of frazer/topshop' than Harrods.

Right i'm off on me mind holidays..bye all until i rested up  Anyone got any personal way they got confidence to be themself please do share and save some like me from a life of beige raincoats and hushpuppy shoes aka disability shop windows

My first thought, too.
3 doctors diagnosed me with hysterical paralysis (weee!), 1 diagnosed an incomplete T7, another T2 and the last (and most accurate) T5. Trampolines are BAD. Sleep is unpredictable. And never kiss strangers. Life has moved on.

This is an amazing site! I'm not trying to impress other people than my fiance and he reassures me I look gorgeous in my chair. But I have actually started to put more effort into my appearance since I got sick. At first I didn't leave the house much so it gave me something to do. Now it just keeps me feeling better about myself. A guy even flirted with me at the bar the other night while I was out with a friend. I declined but it was still a confidence boost.

To see this site affirms to me you can be hot and in a chair! Also the clothes look great. I have very long legs so the cute mini dresses I had before now are paired with leggings for comfort and to avoid everyone seeing up my dress! Also I've had to change the shorts I wear for comfort and practicality.

Thanks so much for sharing!!

Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing this site! Ever since I started working I've been feeling nostalgic and jealous of all my pretty coworkers walking around in their nice shirts and slacks that make no sense for me to wear. >.< This site is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much!
