Hello. I've had stomach pain for years now and don't know what is causing it. I have an appetite but can't eat much at one time because of the pain. My stomach always rumbles especially when I drink and I'm always burping. I was also hospitalized in March with pneumonia and collapsed lungs. I had a PIC line in during that time. Ever since then I've been having chest pains on and off and everytime I raise my arms there is pain across my whole chest. Any ideas what could be causing any of this?

Hi Christy

Welcome to the forum :)

My husband (C5) has had pneumonia a few times. The last time was after surgery when he was in hospital. We found that afterwards his appetite was very poor and he found it really uncomfortable to eat a full meal. So I would prepare small meals..little and often. Even if he thought he could manage a larger meal and then gradually worked up to a normalish meal. But even now if he eats dinner and follows with a big desert then he does get bloating and pain. So I would suggest little and often as regards food.

The pain ..sounds muscular but I am certainly no expert. I would get it checked out.

Sorry can't be more help.
