Looking for wheelchair users to travel around London with me using Public Transport, noting the good and the bad access points along the way.
This is for my PhD in Human Factors, looking into how different forms of information create different user experiences. I need 4 more participants to come to London with all expenses paid (travel, food, drink, etc.). The route is about 3 hours long and goes over rail, underground, bus and DLR. This route has been run with a wheelchair user before, so your safety is assured.
Outcomes of this research will go into developing more user friendly, effective and enjoyable accessibility information websites in the future.

All participants will be entered into a prize draw run by Loughborough University to win £150. All of your data is protected and will not be shared with a third party at any stage.

this is a great idea, i'd go even without the £150 incentive.
unfortunatley at this time, me back spasms are too unpredictable to stick to any specific date.
I would really enjoy reading the results please as I dream of one day getting to London but its just too intimidating s a chair user at the moment and i want to get to london dungeon and buckingham palace and the O2 arena again, which i did as an AB.
Thankyou for doing this study. me and loads others real appreciate your efforts.
Wishing you much enjoyment of your studies.

No worries, and thank you for your interest. This is only the first of two studies which I am doing. The second will use this data and present it on an online experimental website. I would love you to be a part of that as it will only take 30 minutes of your time and you can do it all in your own home! If you email me at c.parker@lboro.ac.uk then I will put you on an email list to be notified of when that is launched.
