Hallo,

I had 2 ADR operations and a fusion in C5-C6.
I suffer from hard nerve pain in all my limbs, 24 hours a day.

I would like to know if anyone had any treatment for such pain (SCI pain).
I would appreciate having any details of a specialist physician in this field or on any treatment (except for drags and stimulator) which might help and you have experience trying it.

Thanks.
Melisa

I'm on my way back to bed thanks to a bit of that myself....so apologies for the shortness of this post.

Hot soaks in the tub or jacuzzi
Heating pad
Meditation
Distraction (music, movies, www.______ , YouTube, online games, Google/wikipedia just to learn something new)
A T.E.N.S. unit (Trans-dermal Electrical Neuoro Stimulus) which uses sticky electrodes & a 9v battery no surgery needed.
If anything like chamomile tea makes you relaxed or sleepy use some of that.
Make sure to take note of any changes in your level of pain in relation to your position; certain positions will actually CAUSE nerve pain for me, such as if I'm in bed I can't stay strait for very long or be upright before the nerve pain in my lower 1/2 (I'm L2) increases or starts up, so I have to keep at least one of my thighs at a 90 degree angle with my body.
Sometimes the spine just flips me THE Bird & I have to go lay down for a while....the longer I fight it the harder it smacks me back.

I also use marijuana cuz over-all I feel way LESS drugged with it than I do with Rx solutions.

Best of luck....hope knowing you're NOT alone is at least of some help.
