I'm two years into an incomplete injury at L1. It left me with no bowel or bladder control or feeling while still having full use of my legs. I'm still young and very active, but fear of accidents are often holding me back from doing what I want, especially in the summer. I like to go to the beach, go swimming, etc., but after an hour or two in a bathing suit I'm jumping in the water to hide leaking urine (and hoping I'm not leaking anything else). I wear Depends Underwear on other occasions, but once they get wet they're ineffective and droopy as anything.
Are there any other options out there for masking leaks while still being able to swim/be active?

You might try Depend Guards. They are a pad (don't "tape" them in). You could wear it in your swim suit until you are going to go in the water and just slip it out and hide it with your stuff on shore. Then when you get out of the water, slip the guard back in place. The Guards capture urine leaks very well as long as you keep your junk in place. If they get too wet, they are easy to slip out and then slip in a new dry one.
