I have constant nerve pain below my injury but it doesnt hurt enough for me to want to take meds for it. Sense I didnt see any difference when I'm on or off the Neurontin. Well last night my left leg started to hurt alot more that usual and it was spasming more too. I dont know if something is wrong with it or if I just have a UTI.
What I'm wandering is if anyones nerve pain got worse or better after so long?
I really just hope its a sometime thing and not going to be constant because I dread going back on Neurotin

Sorry I don't have advice for you, but wanted to let you know you're not alone in this.. Sadly, in my case, my doctors want to blame any ache or pain I get on nerve pain, and don't investigate any other options.. They seem to just want to keep me drugged.. :head_brick_wall-1:

I have found mine is worse with UTI, so thats definitely worth looking into.. Hope you find relief soon..
What's important is not what happens to us, but how we react to what happens to us..

God gave us two ends, one to think with, n one to sit on.. Success depends on which one u use.. Heads u win, tails u lose..

UTIs do make everything worse. It may be better to have a culture and sensitivity on your urine before starting an antibiotic regimen. There is a lot of resistance being build up lately to the oral medications. If it is clear and not foul smelling, your spasms could be more from the medication change.

I've been off the Neurotin sense last October so I dont think its the meds. I just thought it was weird that its only getting worse in one leg. I guess that could be a good thing.

My nerve pain has gotten worse as the years have rolled on. Hopefully this isn't the case with you....but since you asked.

My body gets symptomatic when there is something wrong: UTI, digestive upset, something truly hurts.
