hi all, i'm rather embarrassed with this one so bear with me.

Inside...i cant feel any sensation on one side..the other side i have sensation.

When it comes to removing bowels..i noticed that i bled...i must have cut meself with me nail...so....now i have more troubles due to meds...i cant just remove it by touching the sensitive side..so how do i go about not cutting it..its getting harder and harder to manage and need some guidance from you whom have no senstion whatsoever.

Because i spasm when i have something going on inside, i dont want to get an infection there or something (i'm thinking that area may be at risk of infection when cut) because i wont feel it but i do get ill with infection feelings.

Oh, come now Pinky.....You know I'm one of your most ardent devos so there is no need to be embarassed. Did you know that hemorrhoids are varicose veins of the rear unloading dock? You already have some venous flow problem in you legs and that probably carries right on up the chain to the next level above. I have been blessed with rather large blue beauties myself after all these years of abuse from enemas, suppositories, diarrhea, constipation, straining to "please go", straining to "please stop going", fingers, gloves, and maybe a corn cob out of desperation. Try using a glove or a couple of sheets of toilet paper over your finger before entering the mine. Hemorrhoids are very tender tissue and tend to bleed bright red quite easily. A little A&D ointment on a tissue held in place for a minute should calm them down. Happy Trails......

Pinky,,, while noone likes to bleed,,, anywhere,,, it's pretty common for those of us dependent on digital stimulation,,, to develop hemorrhoids. You may not notice them,, until they get larger,, but even when they are small,, they are pretty sensitive. Ask anyone who has them,, and they will tell you that they sometimes bleed just from passing firm stool. You can imagine how much more easily they will become irritated when you haqve to go digging around up there.

As long as the bleeding is minor ( stops quickly),, there is generally no problem. I've had mine almost as long as I've been in my chair,, and although I, too,, have bleeding occasionally,, I've never had an infection from it.

If the area is tender,,,since you have a little feeling down there,,, you might consider one of the topical ointments that are available for hemorhoids.

i had noooooo idea that piles lived all the way up there, i thought they just were outside things..oooo i see.

i have nooo feeling on the right side at all, which i aint moaning about at all..so have always gone to the left side because i thought that if i cut it i would feel it and quickly move away....(brown sequard syndrome means parts of me body have feeling..the other side does not..to add into me mixture it includes the inside too).

i thought it was strange how say if i cut a knee..i would get an infection....maybe we can not be infected by our own poop then because it belongs to us.....thank you both soooooo much, i'm reassured now and dont have to ask a dr (but i can put it on the internet
and davjed sci people cant be devos because you they got sci themself or that would mean i am your favourite devo too you long time sci are soooo cool, i remember if you lot live with all this exact stuff means it aint nothing i will die from neither

I get this problem now and then, try lots of lubrication KY whatever, a double layer of gloves if you have nails and then take off the outside dirty glove or put on a clean pair and clean yourself with wet wipes then apply lots of pile cream like preparatio H or any other over the counter one and it will heal slowly. Try and keep your poop as soft as possible.

i going to use vaseline...all this time i have struggled - i never thought of lubricants why i dont know..i suppose because i never asked doctors will assume i used lubrication. Had i been brave enough to ask before i'd have not suffered with no lube. And yes, pile cream wont harm me, I forgot about that.

I am hoping for the coloplast peristeen to be available in the states. With that you wouldn't need suppositories or digital stim. Am I correct?

I recommend Preparation H ointment. Personnally I think it is better than the cream.

And you should also be using a water soluble lubricant like KY. Start with KY, then if nothing happens go to the vasoline or Prep H (I try to use Prep H sparingly since it is more costly) and then back to KY. The vasoline (or Prep H) makes a seal so the KY and your finger are more effective.

You would think that vasoline and Prep H would be very similar. But Prep H works when nothing else will. It will help make sure the last that can come out, does come out. Not magic, but definitely has a positive effect.

For healing hemorrhoids Witch hazel is excellent and inexpensive. moisten some paper towel with it and leave it in the anus for awhile.

ooooo seeing as sci1998 is now banned..do I wonder if this system is not worth it?
