who has tried compression/ decompression / hyperbaric treatment?
It says it can improve oxygen supply in the brain.

Hyperbaric oxygen works to improve stroke and TBI patients by repairing and generating new blood vessels to the injured parts of the brain. Once the ischemic tissues no longer suffer from a lack of oxygen, they are able to begin to repair the injured neurons, glial cells and extracellular matrix. The generation of new blood vessels occurs as a direct result of daily hyperbaric oxygen treatments. This does not occur with pure oxygen at normal atmospheric pressures. The number of treatments required varies for each individual but in my experience the best results occur when at least 60 daily treatments are done. If only 20 to 30 treatments are done, the patient will often experience "backsliding" and may lose some of the improvement they gained from the hyperbaric oxygen treatments. In addition, some patients will not even begin to improve until they have had more than 30 or 40 treatments.

I had it in 1983 to treat very severe pressure sores. It didn't work. Surgery did. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I had 30 sessions for staph infection that got to my bones. My brain was so fuddled back then I don't remember much. But it made my vision blurry for a long time and it made me super buoyant. I could not sink in the pool at all, LOL. Sorry this don't really help you.

I'm with pete. I tried it for a bad pressure sore and it didn't work. I met a man though who has a traumatic brain injury. He is 27 but only about 11 in his mind. He is doing the chambers for diabetic reasons I believe, but when I talked to him, he said that the chambers dramatically improved his speech as well. He's been in the chambers for 40+ treatments. I'll see him again on the 18th hopefully, I'll have to ask more questions.

I believe in the chambers. They may not be good for pressure sores, but I think they work well for other things. I have terrible nerve pain, but when I was in the chambers, and the hours after the chamber, it was like non-existant. The chambers work really well for different things, in my opinion.

Good luck :)
Life is about adjusting and advancing. You adjust yourself to fit the situation and then you advance in that situation the best that you can, and that's all you can do.
