Some of you may remember, I was having a really rough time. Well, I'm glad to say those days are over!
For over two years now I had constant pain in my stomach, nausea, and of course weight loss. You could see by ribs so well, I could swear I had 14 or 15 of 'em lol.
I have been back and forth to the emergency room, doctors' visits, you name it, where I was always told nothing was wrong, everything was fine, and the pain might even be in my head. (I guess throwing up was in my head too.) This really bothered me because obviously something was wrong!
My Dr. quit on me leaving me with a fresh new Dr. I was very very disappointed at first, I did not want to start all over with some guy I'd never met. But, it was a blessing in disguise!
I got really sick from malnourishment and dehydration and passed out, fell out of my chair... I never use seat belts, maybe I should, I really don't have a valid reason why I don't :head_brick_wall-1: any ways it seems doctor's take passing out far more seriously than me telling them I can't eat, drink, or sleep.
I stayed in the hospital a while where they ran a series of tests. The problem was in my stomach... The same spot I had been complaining about forever! Gastritis, Gastroparesis, and hitial hernia. All right there in my belly, and no one took the time to check.

I'm not even mad at them, I'm just glad to be feeling fine, no pain, I'm eating well, gaining weight, and have tons of energy! I was at rock bottom and quitting wasn't a daily decision but an hourly one. Things have a weird way of working themselves out.

Sorry for the absence I missed you guys! I'm back in full effect... Well, after I heal my a wound I will be in full effect, but I do feel great! :boxing:
I never did like snakes... so I got out the gutter.

I'm thrilled that you are finally on the road to health! This must be such a relief!

I've also just recently sorted my infections out that my Dr had given up on, so I'm well aware of the toll it takes, and then the weight just lifting when all those months of suffering are finally over..

It's always good to hear great news. Feeling lousy can really do a number on your head and quacky doctors don't help either.A good example of how we have to be persistent with our health. Second opinions never hurt either. Good luck getting that wound healed!!!

Great news, so glad you can look forward to what's coming next instead of being in trepidation of what the next hour may be like.
Good luck healing and enjoying life again.

Good news...I was misdiagnossed with SCI and that allowed things to go to far. It's a bad feeling when you know something is wrong and the "professionals" refuse to listen.
