I'm a 56 year old c-6 quad and I would like to have a colonoscopy. For a previous procedure I drank the special drinks and took the little pills from the doctor that are used to empty you out. Then I and sat over the toilet for 5 hours, which wrecked havoc on my hemorrhoids, only to have nothing happen for over 24 hours. Of course, by then I was in bed and it was horrible. Anyway, I can't do that again. So I was wondering if going and having a colonic done would clean me out enough to have a colonoscopy done. I didn't know if they would work properly on a quad. Has anyone tried it? I see in the phonebook that some are done in dr. offices where they also advertise colonoscopies. I wonder if insurance would cover it.
