Maybe this has been posted, I'm lazy at 4:30 in the morning! Yesterday in Wyoming, I started hand control training, although I have been driving for three years (learner's permits ONLY, UGH!). Yesterday was a rough day, training for about 6 hours straight.

Someone PLEASE tell me it gets easier! I have cerebral palsy in my legs and I have been driving fine (a couple close calls), and now driving with hand controls, having to do everything with the hands... help me. lol

I'm hoping that the SureGrip hand controls will be better... trainer's car has MPS hand controls, a pain in the arms!!!

Anyway, newb here for any hazing! lol :)

Dalen,

If you have pain in arms, I think that you must try hand controls with gas holder. As I know the only one with gas holder available in US is MENOX.
I've been driving hand controls with holder for more than 25 years. I don't have grip in my fingers but have never been tired even on very long travels.
Driving this way is easy and even a pleasure.
Now I change my car and have again gas holder.

Wish you safe and easy driving.

Rudy

Yes, driving with hand controls gets easier. I remember learning how to drive with hand controls - it was really weird at first. Now, I don't think about it at all, I just drive.
