Hello I am a T-7 paraplegic. I go to school full time. I am in need of a vehickle but can't afford one. I spend 2 hours a day traveling to school and from school thats a total of for hours on the bus. That really limits the time you have for other things. My school schedule is done around the bus schedule needless to say I can't always get the classes I want or need. If not riding the bus I could get to school in about 25 minutes also I could eliminate 2 of the 3 buses required for me to get to school by driving to one of the school shuttles pick up points. I live in a different county than my school. The first bus that comes by my house is at the same time the first School shuttle leaves. It is also very difficult grocery shopping in a wheel chair and having to ride a bus. I don't want a car for cruzing or joy riding as for the fact if I can't afford a car now how would I afford to joy ride or cruz? I simply want a car to make my life a little easier and less stressful. I don't have rich parents to buy me a car like some people I ave met, and I don't have insurance options as it is my fault that I'm in a wheelchair. I haven't always been a good boy but I'm 34 years old I wanna do the right things now but its hard to do the right thing in this world if you have no money or a crimminal record. If there is anyone out there that knows of organizations or people that can help me get a vehichle that has hand controls at little or no cost please let me know!
Thanks, Kenny
Hey Kenny, Where do you live?
