Hi,
I have been using a chair for ages but keep getting blisters on my thumbs from pushing. I am fed up with them.
Anyone got any ideas how I can stop getting them without wearing full finger gloves. Maybe I am pushing wrong.
Cheers
Fran

Hi Fran
I Don't suffer from this problem so i don't really know if i have a solution? have you tried cutting the ends of rubber gloves [marigold etc] a factory i used to work in made wire belts for the food industry and the women there used to 'weave' the metal strips together all day long!! it was very tough on the fingers and they used to try allsorts to relieve the blisters, they used masking tape applied to the fingertips and used to wrap it in such a way that the sticky bit only stuck to their 1st finger joint, also they used ends of rubber gloves as above,i know its abit make do and mend but i don't have any other solution,it must be a pain though

They sell wheelchair gloves that have no fingers but they DO have full thumbs so they don't get torn up and blistered - I think they work wonderfully - I get mine from sportaid.com
