not quite sure where to post this nad ye it is a bot of a woe me post to i know .But am concerned what happens next and really could do with some advice

We are just about to lose bungalow we rent as the rent is going up and hb going down so have a section 21 and they will not carry out adaptions here either .

Have been told short term that we will need to move into hostel accomidation me and the 4 children , we will ahve eqvilent of 2 double bedrooms as our personal space , which is wheelchair accessible shared living faclites including bathroom/wetroom which means i will need to access it from going outside the building and in another door .So in some ways better than now where i can not get in a bathroom in my chair .But am concerned how on eart am going to do any bowel program , cath etc .Bathroom is between 3 familys all with children

anyone with experiance of hostel and wheelchairs

Am wondering how long people are waiting in the uk .The council problem is identyfyinga 4 bed and making it accessible as just puttinga bedroom downstairs for me will not work as i need to be able to get upstirs to the children .Ot is anti stair lift as I already have shoulder isssues and is worried about keep transfering . So ideally be through floor lift

in australia you dont have many choices 1)modify your house we had a funding body. 2)public housing can take up to 10 years 3)a hostel or nursing home.our govenment needs to pull its fingsr out and look after those most at need.we have had to fight hard for everything.maybe contact the media or your local politician.good luck
