i start like most teens smoking aJ here and there then expermented with drug like meth and coke but now as a adult living with a spinal cord inury i found this desctrive habbits are just leading me away from enoying life...post hospt. i spent nearly 3 yrs clean a very non drinker as i was under age but since 21- 23 i began drinking in more and more occassions and now from 23-25 my use went from smoking weed for those few couple of time to jus drinking and coke useage and as a resultof this my nerve pian as doubled which to be expected however anware i was...so now im want to stop these behaviors as not to continue the desease so how do i got about seeing the triggers and traps sett by other to maintain pain free and drug free life thank feel free to share-

Well the battle is half way won. you accepted that it's bad for you.
Good luck as to I ABSTAINED from after using pot pre injury like you did and its not easy.

I don't have any PERSONAL experience but do have a couple of friends who have. You can see that there IS a "problem" which is a big part of the battle already won. Have you tried seeking any AA or NA recovery groups? They can HELP you relearn how to handle situations to a point, & help you with a sponsor to give you MORE HELP, and the meetings themselves will help you remember you're not alone in your struggles with addiction. I wish you all the luck in the world with overcoming the addictions.
