What backwoods malls/stores is it that HE is looking at? Whenever I go to a store or restaurant it seems that there is only an available w/c parking spot maybe 1/3 of the time.....the other 2/3s we either spot someone who just parked as we were pulling into the parking lot who then HOPS out & JAUNTS to the door (doubtful they have any mobility or respiratory issues) OR when we've finally figured out a way to get me & my chair out once we do get inside there's no OBVIOUS legit users of disabled plates or placards. Try going to the beach/boardwalk sometime......if the city ever wants to make some $ off fining people for illegal use of disabled parking THAT'S THE PLACE TO GO! :soapbox:

If that nut would look in the mirror, he'd notice he should spent alittle time on grooming instead of talking about something he has NO knowledge of. That would have been time well spent.

Haha! I actually sent him a message too claiming I'll park next to him in those tiny parking lots and scratch the hell out of his car as I'm opening my door extra wide getting the wheels out.

A few days ago an old man backed up into my driver's side door as I was getting the chair out. I asked if he saw me, and he said yes, but thought I'd see him and close the door. I pointed to the chair, which was wedged between it and he told me to "Park in the F*cking designated spots". Damned if you do, damned if you don't. People are just dumb. When they're called on it, they just sling insults and ensure that you know just how stupid they are.

It's easy to voice an opinion on something you know nothing about and being totally oblivious to its usefulness , your lack of knowledge seems to make perfect sense. His eyes are wide shut. Instead of getting upset with him someone needs to educate him about why these things exist. Someone in a wheelchair or a organization should reach out to him. Invite him to a rehab facility , ask him to use a wheelchair for a week or two, and maybe have him accompany a wheelchair user for awhile. This way he'll learn why these things exist and are not a mere inconvenience to him or others. Travels through a parking lot could be dangerous some drivers dont look both ways and you're sitting down ..... they may not see you. Who knows what set him off in the first place!!! Maybe he was fined or made to give the right of way to someone in a wheelchair and cant let it go ....... feeling mistreated , so he goes on a mission. Some people just cant except no you cant. Again this is a opportunity for someone in our community to enlighten somebody. The man has no idea of this life , its circumstances , pitfalls or hardships we live / endure to make our way and lives manageable. Each obstacle or barrier we overcome makes things better and adapting easier. A woman can explain child birth to me a thousand times, but i'll never fully understand where she's coming from because i cant give birth. I likely so could explain the pain men feel when hit in the testicles and likely so, she'll never fully understand .

like the presentation? the guy needs to take a look in the mirror. I write this person off as he is talking plain nonsense. He want's to abolish 'handicapped' parking spaces based on what he sees from one car park; clever.

What if a person who is not handicapped wants a sandwich but can't because he can't park? Get something else! Walk! Make something at home! So many responses without even needing to go down expressing my opinions the expletive route.

Fear not dear fellow 'handicaps' I very much doubt this idiot will be winning the Nobel Peace Prize any time soon.

This person states that the shop own the land; is this true? If so; why not label it a private car park that only customers can use? I don't know whether this is a legal option.

The sickening amount of people who blag a blue badge (disabled parking permit) in this country truly makes me sick. If one thing pleases me it is that most of these blaggards will lose these permits under Camerons reforms (hopefully).

Do you think this guy managed to be a complete DICK in one take or did it more likely take him days of recording and watching himself?
Hope he gets his car "keyed" regularly!

If i ever saw him i'd punch him in the face and snap his f*@king spine!! Then see what he thinks about the spaces. He'll prob make another video saying why do AB's park in disabled spots. What an idiot, people like that need a wake up call! He hasn't got a clue, he's just a typical prick who got pissed off one day because he couldn't find a parking spot to pick up his burger 'n' fries.

I was going to respond to this guys message with either logic or anger at his stupidity, but I'm in a mellow mood and realized a few things:

1 - Logic doesn't work on morons.

2 - If I rant at him, he'd enjoy the fact that I got mad.

3 - This guy is most likely living in his mothers basement, watching Faux News and jacking off to internet porn all day, so he's a bigger loser than I feel like at times, so in a way, I pity the guy.

Still, the guy is an a$$hole, so I hope the guy gets hit by a bus. Not killed, just mangled with no head injury. I want him to be able to realize his ignorance.

I hope this guy accomplishes his mission of getting handicapped parking spots abolished (hear me out). If that does happen Im going to drive around and find out where hes parked, park myself a fair distance from the mall, roll allll the way down the isle, and hope he doesn't see me when Im right behind his car. Boom! He hits me. I get a brief stay in hospital, but well worth the couple of years he gets for attempted manslaughter. Then the h-cap spots will be reinstated. Looks good on paper.

I read an article in a magazine once complaining about how wheelchair users should get handicap parking because we have wheels and can move faster than a normal walking person therefor we dont need to be closer to the sotre. Ugh. Anytime I read something critizing a wheelchair user/disabled person by a completly AB person it pisses me off. They obviously have no idea.

Yea, he's an asshole. But how many of you guys have wondered about why that guy who is walking is parking in an HC spot? We complain about old people or fat people or various other "disabilities" who use the HC parking. This guy has just taken it a step further.

Personally I just need the wider space and I'd be fine with the HC parking being further away from the door. I really don't need the shorter distance, I just need the room to get my chair out of my car.
Just a regular guy making his way through life.

Fair comment Bill.
I'd still run my key the length oh his car though!
