I am putting together a business proposal for a business specializing in organized indoor sports of the disable community. While I live in the Tampa Bay Area of florida, I am trying to find some information for my proposal as to the number of disabled athletes who currently participate in some kind of sport within the United States. I am also curious how many legitimate competitions there are in the US (not including pan am, paralympics, or commonwealth) that theoretically the Tampa area could host. My potential facility will have a variety of sports, so really just looking for general numbers, as this project will be much larger in scope then I could ever hope to afford myself, and investors will want to see the potential for tourism and athletes from outside Tampa as well. Thanks in advance!!
