On our trip back to Montana Amy and I got the chance to do some white water rafting. It was a little scary but a ton of fun. Check out my blog there are pics and a video. http://joesstone.blogspot.com/

Great post! I love rafting and this was my first summer in my chair. I was pretty devastated I couldn't go until I started talking to a good friend of mine who's an experienced guide on the Arkansas River in Colorado through the Royal Gorge. He said he could rig up a way to get me on the water no problem. Unfortunately I had complications from one of my SC surgeries in August and missed what was an epic peak flow season. Hopefully next year though!

Do you still live in Missoula? Two summers ago I was visiting my ex who had moved to Bozeman. I fell in love with it and have even considered moving up there myself. I think I'd just miss the mix of ultra rural and city life.

Sorry for the slow reply. I do not live in Missoula at the moment but my fiancee and I hope to be back next fall. Once you live in the mountains its hard to live without them. Im hoping to get into some sort of rafting when I get back out there. Im not sure if it is going to be a kayak or a raft .

It looks like it was wonderful! I've gone white water rafting down the New River prior to my injury and it's a great experience ... Loads of fun. Kudos for living your life post injury!!
