Hi Clara
Good to hear from you and thanks for raising the question.
The last statistics I saw showed that people insured on the car insurance scheme for people with disabilities had a very low claims loss ratio which hopefully proves this point.
We believe this is due to the fact that people with disabilities and their family members have more responsibility due to the nature of their disability. This 'mindset' carries over to driving as well and we as an insurer are keen to offer insurance for people who are less likely to claim now, meaning lower insurance premiums!
We can't make assumptions for the mindset of people before they had their accidents as you suggest (!) but we certainly can for people as they are now!
As an insurer, we want to quote for people who are less likely to claim because as a business, that is good for the balance sheet!
But the great thing about this is that you can benefit!
Please feel free to ring us when your car insurance renewal is due to take advantage of this!

If you knew there was a car insurance scheme designed to save you money because you personally were recognised as a better driver through your links with this site, would you try it? I would!
Why not ring us for a quote now – regardless of when your car insurance renewal is due to see how much you could save on what you are already paying, then post the results on here?
It’s freephone 0800 3308057 or landline for mobiles 0333 4001580

I rang a lady who asked us to quote for her car insurance yesterday to gain feedback. Her words were that our quote was ‘very competitive’.
If you need car insurance, please ring us on 0800 3308057 or 0333 4001580 for mobiles (as can be included in any free minutes)

That was a great quote, Pikey. I don't suppose it will stop the other guy from pushing his product though.
Spamming?????????
OK, OK. I know the boss approved the first post. but the posts are repetitive. They now look like
to me.
If he's genuinely interested in SCI patients, why doesn't he ever get involved in the threads, and just put a link to his business in his sig line?

Glad you had a good experience with Fish.
I found them very expensive and the customer service wasn't very good. I am with Aviva. They beat Fish on price and were great when a numbnuts ran into the back of me.
Haven't tried Prestige. I also find his posts irritating.
