Glad this trip brought you the closure you needed.

You've certainly come through a LOT to be here.

Well the fact that you were so close on so many occasions to not pull through I'm sure also helps to reaffirm that their efforts to save your life weren't for nothing & won't be too quick to count a person out.

hi joestone

thanks so much for sharing.

i was on tv with me accident, the paramedic Terry thought i had a spinal injury but at a and e was told it was just shoulder pain (he said on film that he thought the shoulder pain masked sci but doctors never did mri....and i was left for 2 years living with it (at the time it was just the disc touching the cord so not sci yet heck the tight band pain was unreal).

it was an emotionally tough time watching the programme again. I wrote to him to tell him he was right and thank you so much. In the ambulance he had told me that it was rare to meet patients who were kind to him as they get so much abuse. So you meeting these special people must have made a lifetime full of happiness knowing they were involved in your care, how lovley of you to remember these, many just forget them after the time they become useful.

i never did meet the stranger whom came to hold me hand after the fal though....you writing this here will give others, as well as me, much happiness to know that you were able to do what many of us can not as we will never find them. You got the chance and how wonderful to share, brings me comfort for a regret i had in life for not being able to do the same. Not just then..but is one of the special people i met in life whom helps me be of the same nature as him..to help when asked and not just wheel/walk on by.I can see by you sharing your story with others, you do just the same :)
kindest thanks to you and your lady :)
