Going back to Yosemite next week. It's been since I was a child that I've gone during the fall. Over a year a go I went on a day-trip with a girlfriend but now staying two nights. We saw Yosemite Falls along with a few other attractions (see full review here) but wondering what other trails or sites there are to be seen at Yosemite that are fairly accessible... the more accessible the better of course.

Any ideas anyone?

Assuming you have a handicapped plate/placard you may drive up the long road to Mirror Lake. That puts you pretty close to the lake.

I only spent one night in Yosemite but it was the highlight of my trip. I made sure to stop at the overlooks. There is one that's got everything:

I visited the Ahwahnee Lodge and it was great, but I'm really into that style of architecture. You can get a great view of Halfdome from the lodge. I visited the Yosemite Village and it was pretty cool. Mostly though I drove around and stopped at various places when I saw something cool.

If you haven't gotten one you should get an Access Pass. It's good for admission to pretty much all National Parks:

Here's a link to the Yosemite Access guide. Lots of good info there:

Have a great trip!

Time and time again, Yosemite takes my breath away. 2 nights was not long enough but gathered lots of great information, including Hetch Hetchy, Mirror Lake, and so much more. Read the complete review here. There's still more to uncover, I can't wait to go back!
