I had a chance to go on the radio today and tell my story. We talked about the past year of my life and also about my plans for the future. They also gave me a Braveheart award for inspiration. My blog has a link on it to the pod cast.

Sounds like you've made a lot of progress and i hope you continue to make more. Congrats on your award. Is the purpose of your video and your 105 mile cycle attempt a tribute to show drive , determination , will , meant to be informative / educational or a motivational achievement after a life altering accident ? I'm not trying to be funny or skeptical. Whatever your aim i wish you much success and i'd like to welcome you to the forum.

The Purpose of the film is kind of all of the above. First thing though is to help motivate. I watched Murderball while I was in the hospital and seeing what those guys were able to do really motivated me to gain my independence. I hope to do the same for someone else some day. Also in the film I will be showing how I camp and some of the modifications I made and needed to make this trip back to Montana poassible. I found on this trip that it is not that hard to camp and travel, you just need to be ok with being a little uncomfortable, but that goes with camping no matter who you are. Showing all that I accomplished in one year will hopefully get able/disabled people off the couch and back to a better quality of life. So I guess to label the film that we are making it would be inspirational/motivational.
