It appears that some mail servers have the ip number of the Apparelyzed server on a Block List.

This could be due to abuse from a previous domain name sending spam which was allocated the same ip number as Apparelyzed.

As we are now the new owners of the ip number, the block appears to be still in effect.

The mail servers affected, which are still to add us to their approved Whitelist are:

Verizon
Yahoo
BT
cox.net
ymail

There may be more, and as time reveals the affected servers, we'll add them here.

I can assure you that Apparelyzed does not send spam, and no member email addresses are released to third parties. All email addresses are confidential.

Email notifications bounced back to Apparelyzed will have the members account changed so no topics are watched, and email notifications will be turned off.

Regards

Simon

Important Update

It appears Yahoo is the main email provider affected. Can all members with a yahoo email address please unsubscribe from the forum and forum posts, and turn their email notifications off.

Thankyou

Simon

I think if you have changed all your notifications from email to either pm or inline notification it should be fine :)

Hopefully it'll get sorted soon, my main email account is yahoo, I have had to resurrect my old gmail account especially for the forum!

To turn email notifications off go to "My Settings" (the settings are found by clicking the arrow next to your name on the top right hand of the screen) click on "Notification Options", uncheck the boxes that says email, if you chose to you can change your setting to inline notification or pm, just make your your pm notification is NOT set to email!

In the settings menu you can also click on the "Forum" tab, this will tell you if you have any subscriptions active, if you have you will be able to cancel them

You can also change your email address instead to a non yahoo one if thats easier!

Apparelyzed is no longer accepting registrations from Yahoo email addresses.

If you need to find an alternative email address, we suggest using Google's Gmail service.

Simon, I don't know whether this is linked but I got the screen below on clicking on Girlracer's last post in the Ironman thread.
Sorry about posting it here but I couldn't think of any other way to let you see it.

It looks as though the signature image was hosted on a compromised server.

I've now removed the image, and placed it on the Ap' server so it still appears.

Simon.

How can I subscribe to notifications? I'd like to know when someone has replied without having to check all the time.
