Being a c4 incomplete quad I'm fairly active. I'd be even more active if I wasn't so shy. The problem is that the more things that I get involved in, the more times I have to transfer out of my chair. I don't wear underwear for skin protection reasons and because it's one less thing to put on. Often when transfering, my ass crack is exposed or even if someone offers to tuck the back of my coat down in the winter, I lean forward and give the person a free show of my ass crack. I hate that. I buy long shirts but it doesnt always help. I'm quite tall. I'm very self - conscious of the crack. It often keeps me from doing the things I want to do.

Does anyone else suffer from Plumber's butt problems. How do you deal with it?

Wear a belt. Also helps if someone needs to help move you

They do make jeans and slacks etc designed specifically for chair users. They ride up higher in the back and lower in the front making them much more comfy. I transfer a lot myself and because I wear mostly skirts it's not an issue but with a lower cut of slacks the top of my panties show. Goodness it's the style now I know, for women anyway but eyeing the crack of a sloppy looking woman in a restaurant recently while I tried to dine, really convinced me I don't care for the new (60s revised) style. :)
I prefer my buns to have an all-beef patty between them! ;)

Try this site for some ideas or you can do a search for "adaptive clothing" that turns up a lot of results.

I don't care for the hip-hugger comeback either. My right hip and thigh is atrophied enough that it only takes a few steps and I have to start tugging them back up. And if I wear a belt tight enough, then it gathers the slacks up in a way that's not flattering. I'm constantly having to check the back of my britches whenever I sit down too. Guess I'd better start buying prettier underwear. :) :)

You could get some Rolli-Moden trousers, they areshaped for disabled people so you have a higher back of the trouser (8 or 12cm which is 3 or 4.5 ins). Plus lowered front. Have used them since mid 80's. You can get them in USA or EU.
US http://www.rolli-mod...re/commerce.cgi
EU https://85.10.207.23.../Shops/DemoShop
Accessible holiday villa including accessible transport and airport transfer

I say we have a bonfire of "ugly panties"...... I never got to burn my bra cuz I was too young and I'm in need of a release! (Although I'd LOVE to never have to wear a bra again!) :)

Well they don't call them "butt floss" for nothing ! I don't mind the look of the hip huggers but I just don't want to see anyone's crack (especially while I'm eating) I think it's tasteless. (errr pardon THAT pun!) :D

Oh my goodness you ladies make me laugh JUST when I seem to need it most! Thank You!!! <GFH>

Just to inject this guy’s perspective, G-Strings don’t hold a candle for sexiness when compared to panties….
