maybe it would help with pressure sores
I mean I'm sure they would move around a lot if you sat on them, so not one area is getting all the pressure.
Think outside the square people, that's how all the great discoveries are made.
My spine is all wrong but my backbone is strong.

We have 2 cats also, but the other one will only step on the chair briefly to get from point A to B. Riley has always slept on the chair and also loves to hitch rides from room to room. He also likes sitting on Scotts lap and watches intently when he plays computer games. It's funny to watch. And whenever Scott comes through the front door, whether he has been gone for a few hours or a few minutes, Riley will run to him and jump in his lap as if he had been gone an eternity. It's too cute!
He used to move rather easily if Scott wanted his chair back, now he just looks at him like "yeah, you're not taking MY chair". And the racing him trying to beat him into the chair is brand new. LOL

Kinda like a warm, fuzzy butt massage, I dig it....

There are times they get so intense over it that they beat me into getting in the chair.
When we are in the truck and my hubby gets out, they both have to sit in my lap until he comes back. I'm not sure if they are protecting me or they think I'm protecting them. I think my schnauzer is protecting me and I'm protecting the pug. I do know it's a lap full of dog!

*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*
*I USE a wheelchair, that does NOT make ME a wheelchair!*

My dog loves my chair too. He's almost 70 lbs and likes to prop himself up on it. Once I've transferred in he thinks he's a lap dog and tries to jump up. Epic fail most of the time though.

You can see him tapping his watch saying "what time do you call this. I want to go to bed".
Then in the mornings you reach to pull your chair closer to you and find cats claws grasping you as he objects to being disturbed!!
Funny thing!

Cats... Always have bad timing and placement. My little man always sleeps on my chair next to the bed but knows when it's time to get off. These are my frequent problems.

A severe bladder infection had the doctor send his nurse to put a interal catheter in that had an irrigation bottle hanging from an IV poll to keep my bladder flushed clean.
That Bottle had a Tube cylinder where you can see the drip speed like a IV has.
Room mates cats liked sleeping between my feet, never knew why. Cold winter night while room mate working the night shift and Me^ alone in bed, first cat jumps up and starrts pulling my blanket down with it's front feets claws, stronger then my c4 c5 finger grip. Freaking Cat Stripped Me^ to wear blanket only covered Me^ up to my knees! Buck naked cursing Cat and second Cat jumps in bed between feet also. I notice in the dark of just the TV light that 2 was staring up at the Drip in the irrigation tube just below it's Drip rate thing!
Then the unbelievable !!!
That Cat jumped to get to the Drip it was attracted to like a Cat toy. It's Claws of one of it's paws got stuck in drip regulator thing, leaving the Cat stuck hanging for almost an hour until I heard the door of my neighbor shutting when she got home.
Now 22 years old, Naked from knees up, Had to call My attractive 30 year old, school teacher neighbor to use key in flower pot to get in to come free the Cat and cover Me^ !!!
If She didn't start lol at the Cat, and the whole crazy situation, I would've Cried.
Thank you Jane. You save Me^ and that Crazy Cat from a longggg night !!!

Our cat just did this the other night. We were up way later than usual and in the kitchen and Riley comes in and gives my BF this look then starts meowing at him (which he doesn't do often). I asked my BF what his deal was and he said "He wants to go to bed but I'm in it" LOL
