Travelling - What To Use ?

my question is, in terms of toileting/showering, what are my options in this area. As in commodes and stuff, I really want to take as less as possible.
I'm only actually starting to do my own BP atm, but i will master it before I go !
At home I use a commode for both, and I have a secondry one up the coast where I go for holidays. But I really don't want to be dragging around a commode around the world.
I haven't yet but I know i could transfer on and off toilet.
I'm aware of the rubber ring, altho I don't get how you get your hand under there to do your business without making a huge mess ?
A portable raised toilet seat with gap in between ?? Is there one out there ?
does everyone who doen't use a commode, simply use their chair to roll to toilet, transfer on then back into chair.....then to shower, transfer onto a bench r something for shower then vice versa ???
Really need some ideas, got no one else to ask......

I transfer from my chair to a toilet then back and transfer to a bench in the bathroom to show and back. I have a much lower injury level then you though but it's all what makes you feel comfortable!
I've only been in the States and Oz since being paralysed so I'm sorry I'm not more help. Have fun!

really intrigued on crew using the inflatable ring ??
want to know how you don't mess yourself and it all up without the ring having a gap ?
Hi I won't beat about the bush, so when I use a rubber ring on the toilet I tend to sit so my tackle is over the ring rather then in it, this gives you all the room you need for the marigolds to get to work , no mess!

i go to the toilet every morning when i wake up then straight to shower, all up takes me 20-30 mins.
I have a capped spc, so weeing isn't a problem.

I sell a Travel Shower Chair that I had made to solve my own problems of portability and cost. You can find it here and below is a video clip of how it works:
It IS:
- lightweight (5kgs) and can fit into hold luggage with other stuff packed around it.
- affordable
- designed to work: padded U-shaped seat for better personal hygiene and flip arms to enable transfer
- safe: rubber ferrules to prevent slip & designed for transferring not like a garden chair which flips when you put weight on the far arm while transferring.
It is NOT:
- self-propelling (sorry compromise on size for hold luggage means it cannot be all things to all wo/men)
- a commode (no it doesn't fit over a toilet - again, the size compromise. I use an inflatable loo seat cushion for that part of my bathroom routine)
I also sell a bath tub version for all those baths with handheld showers which you can find here, and video below:

There are a couple of other options out there, including goesanywhere.com - designed by a tetra for tetras - and Freeway.
I post WORLDWIDE. Canada and North America is £46.95 for shipping and delivery time takes approx. 2-3 days from collection my end.
I sold out in the summer (no surprise
I use my main shower chair at home as it is bigger and more comfortable, and these when I am away from home and they have served me very well.
Any questions please ask!
