 hi all guys, to cut a long story short I had infeection a good while back which was treated with antibiotics which has left me with recurring thrush. I'm very particular about hygene - [maybe too particular sometimes!!] despite using canistan when flare up occurs, thrush comes back to haunt regularly specially in this bloody hot weather. I'm W4/5 icomplete with bladder icontinence, and ahem am fully equiped with complete foreskin and use ky jelly all the time, every day for comfort and hygene but am finding more and more discomfort during/after sex/masturbation maybe my age [50] any other lubes I can try

Thrush is a yeast-based infection so must be originating from your intestines. Eat live yohurt or take supplements such as Acidofilus or take drinks such as Actimel to increase the levels of "good bacteria" in your guts so they cancel out the bacteria that cause problems such as Thrush. You should also avoid products with yeasts - bread, beer, etc - for a while and don't over-consume these products if you are prone to Thrush.

For a treatment, try smothering the affected areas with live Yogurt and leave it on as long as possible. Sometimes it clears overnight.

Hope this helps.

There's also a blue capsule you can take for it called 'DiFlucan' . It's excellent and no mess!!
Good luck
