Quad Wondering About Transferring Baby

as a c5 quad, im worried about how i would transfer, hold and support the babys weight ( if i were to have a child ) im scared i would drop the baby! i dont have control of my hands.. my arms are pretty strong but i have no grip


has anyone been in this situation?

I used a baby sling when they were TINY & a pouch when they were still babies but were 3+ mo old tile around 12-18mo & by then they were able to come to ME. I have arm & hand function I just needed my arms to get ME around.

Hey Doc,
Was just reading your post and have a few ideas and observations to share with you.
Kids learn pretty fast to stay still on your lap whilst u are pushing/driving and the harness/sling mentioned above is a great idea to combat the picking up dilemma. Practice picking the baby up off the floor while your partners around until you get confident enough to do it yourself. Let me know how you go, my wife and i are trying for kids at the moment :)
