We are just home again from Florida and have a couple of destinations to share.
The Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is located on the picturesque tip of Key Biscayne. On one side is the beautiful Atlantic Ocean with over a mile of beautiful sandy beaches. These beaches are consistently ranked in America’s top ten. On the other side is Biscayne Bay with its seawall and accessible fishing platforms all overlooking the distant Miami skyline. The park is also home to the historic lighthouse first built in 1825 and reconstructed in 1845. It is the oldest man-made structure in the Miami-Dade County. Accessibility is excellent throughout the park including the picnic areas and tables, fishing platforms, beach access, the historic lighthouse and the two cafes.
