tomorrow my son will be 19 years old. It seems as if yesterday that he was born. In a blink of an eye I can look back and remember my wife waddling around with my son in her belly. He is now at the University of the West Indies pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Do you all reflect on the kids and how fast they have grown up?

i'm in the same boat. my daughter will be 18 next month and leaving next year for college. she can't wait to go off and i'm shocked at how quick it went. i still have a 16 year old but soon i will be an empty nester. now i have to figure out what to do with myself once both kids are off to school. i'm considering presuing my mba in economics and perhaps teaching. i really don't have incentive to work since i have workman's comp. but i'd rather be fulfilled than bored out of my mind.
hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!

It seems like only yesterday I looked in the mirror and squeezed pimples, worried about my appearance.
Today i rarely look in the mirror. There is a skinny old hag there, mocking me.

Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!
