Best Way To Get A Massage

Plus I've got to have, like, the world's hairiest ass. I mean it's like a rain forrest back there, it's disgusting! God only knows what new species have yet to be discovered in that thick mane of fur where my ass is supposed to be. Yeah...um...I'm not letting her see that! But I can't shave it because it would leave a clear line on my leg where the hair stops. So then I'd have to shave my entire body. Plus it grows back in a day anyway. Either way it's clearly obvious when I've take a razor to that majestic piece of pelt from my posterior, which, when seen, would raise the obvious question "Did you shave your ass recently!??". "Believe me, sister, I did you a favor!". And what if I miss a spot? Then I've got this smooth bare ass with a patch of black curls on my left cheek like some cursed god-forsaken area of land where the "black death" is growing out of. <sarcasm> Yeah that wouldn't be awkward to explain. </sarcasm>
Anyway, seriously what is the massage process you all go through? This is professional massages not friend/family massages.

I'm pretty well in the same boat, those tables are usually fixed height and not stable enough to climb up onto. I'n cases like that, I've been fortunate enough that the place has 2 or three guys that can just set me on the table. One real easy way to avaoit that is to ask the place, when you make the appt, if they have the adjustable tables that yo can get onto at seat height then raise up. I go fairly often, couples massages are great dates, and I've never had an issue. We just had somebody show us to the room, then ask if we needed any assistance.
As far as being bare-ass, that's your option. I usually keep my shorts on, girls keep their panty bottoms on. It's all just what your comfort level is, or the spa's policy. Keep in mind, these people do this for a living, they see everything, and always exercise the highest level of professionalism. Don't give it a second thought....

Hi NegativeEntopy,
I just started dating a C5 quad, and he tells me constantly how much he loves my head/neck/shoulder massages. I love touching him, and knowing it brings him so much pleasure makes me want to do it that much more. My question to you is this: Is there therapeutic value in full body massage for someone with a high injury? He has "pins and needles" sensations throughout his body, and next to no sensation in some parts. I'm happy to do ANYTHING that makes him happy and feel good, even if he isn't experiencing it cognitively. Being that you are pursuing massage, I'm hoping that you can give me some insight to its benefits and can provide some tips. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to take this convo offline. I don't want to hijack your thread.
Hope your weekend is great so far. GO NINERS!

Thanks for the link, tsh3406. I get massage on a regular basis, and love it love it love it. My question really centers on the physiological aspects, meaning, is there a purely physical benefit? I mean, if my guy can't feel it, are there still benefits? Improved circulation, reduced tension, etc?
BTW, your posts crack me up. Love them!

I'm devastated! Do you mean gimps can't be dirty old men too? Now I'll have to get someone to sew the pockets back into my grubby old raincoat.

I know Massage Envy has tables that can be moved up and down. And other places will have tables that are made of wood so they would have to be moved with you off. Most too all tables should be able to move up and down as different therapist need different height tables. If its too high for you to transfer just ask the therapist if he she could move it down. And even the wooden tables hold up too 400lbs. so you should be good feel safe. I know they are narrow so when its time to roll over you should see if someone could help the therapist turn you. Dont let them do it themselves.
The benefits for massage are - Increases circulation, allowing the body to pump more oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs.
- Stimulates the flow of lymph, the body's natural defense system, against toxic invaders. For example, in breast cancer patients, massage has been shown to increase the cells that fight cancer.
- Increased circulation of blood and lymph systems improves the condition of the body's largest organ - the skin.
- Relaxes and softens injured and overused muscles
- Reduces spasms and cramping
- Increases joint flexibility.
- Reduces recovery time, helps prepare for strenuous workouts and eliminates subsequent pains of the athlete at any level.
- Releases endorphins - the body's natural painkiller - and is being used in chronic illness, injury and recovery from surgery to control and relieve pain.
- Reduces post-surgery adhesions and edema and can be used to reduce and realign scar tissue after healing has occurred.
- Improves range-of-motion and decreases discomfort for patients with low back pain.
- Relieves pain for migraine sufferers and decreases the need for medication.
- Provides exercise and stretching for atrophied muscles and reduces shortening of the muscles for those with restricted range of motion.
- Assists with shorter labor for expectant mothers, as well as less need for medication, less depression and anxiety, and shorter hospital stays.
Sorry this got long. But if you have other questions please ask.

Yes, even though he can't feel it, there are still benefits. Mainly, as you mentioned, blood circulation. Also circulation of the lymph system and ease of muscle tension for reduced spams. It's also an excellent means of physically connecting with him. In your case, it's a very intimate, sensual activity, a lot of people miss out on little things like that

Thanks, Tim. Yes, he tells me constantly how much he loves my touch, and gets pretty explicit in his descriptions, so I definitely know he's into it / me. Very much a turn on knowing he's loving it. I think the next time we're together I'll offer to do a full head / neck /shoulder massage and ask if I can wash his hair. HOT!

Close you eyes and enjoy it and for that x amount of time forget that you're paralyzed.
Also, make sure they don't give you a heavy massage..tell them you want a relaxing massage and to be gentle and tell her to focus on your shoulders neck ETC so you can enjoy most of it
Do it without giving it a second thought you won't regret it and you'll always want more.
As far as the transfers call in advance tell them you're a quad and need some assistance, they'll help you no problem
