They were universal big scary looking buggars and i won't lie it was a realwieird feeling standing I'n them! You have to tilt your hips verry forward till there pretty mush I'n line with your toes! I just used a sort of granny stand instead of crutches to ballance!
It's not easy as your kind of just balancing on a pivot on top of your hips! And ATM my balance is realy bad as I don't realy stand much inns standing frame! So with a physio just keeping my hips steady I took a couple "steps" at a time and also tried abit of a swing through movement! It's hard work but then again so was a transfer when you first got I'n a chair!
I realy want to give this a good crack as I will be honest it felt great being back at peoples head Hight! I know people say it's inefficient and probly pointless as you can't do it long term anyway! But when the world wasn't so wheelchair friendly people had no choice and did use parawalking well!
Going to keep on at this but unfortunately I've got a 6 month wait to get re-admitted to physio! Guess I'm gunna have to train myself at home because I'm not waiting anymore
