Hi All - my cousin travelled to study university in Jordan and within less than 2 months had a serious accident on her way to university and had a very serious SCI. She is in ICU for over 5 weeks now and it feels that doctors are not understanding her case enough. We've initially been told that she has serious damage in SC on C5 then we've asked for the report and found out more injuries on all of her body and vertebra. In addition, the report suggests that she has quadriplegia and diaphragm is paralysed.
doctors are not clear and not giving us enough information. Her body temperature is high all the time, it reached 41.6C few times. The doctor is saying that there is no good rehabilitation in Jordan and recommends that she travel to the UK or USA.
Is there any doctor that I can send him/her her report and get a second opinion please? and then, any recommendation for good rehab centres please?
Many thanks,
Rouba
