So I have been having worse spasms recently. I been recovering from spinal fusion T2 to L4. Before surgery I had spacsity and spasm issues but nothing like this. Often my legs will start shacking like crazy for no reason. During at night my legs will be very tight. This often makes it difficult for me to sleep at night. I currently take zanflex and baclofin. Looking for ideas

I take a combination of Baclofen 4 x 10mg and Dantrolene 4 x 25mg and if I miss doses for some reason then my spasms go from just under the surface to nuisance level. Point is the reaction to each med is different. Short on Baclofen and things get tight and crampish whereas the Dantrolene reaction is quite different. Then it's activity, my legs bounce, not excessively and a slight change in position away from the weight on the balls of my feet to the heels seems to break the loop.

I don't know if this sounds in any way familiar but as a T3/4 incomplete with sensation and some motor control on my left side this is my experience.
