Hi Folks,
once again I lean on you guys for info
My son is starting to move his bowel program to every other day, so what should I be aware of or on the lookout for?
Thanks,
Muskie

Hello, my name is Sean. I have been a C5 incomplete for over 7yrs. I also use a every other day bowl program. Watch out for pizza and other heavy dough items. To be safe buy a bottle of mag-citrate. That might be spelled wrong.

Hi "Dad",
I am Paralysed Level T8/9 (ASIA A Complete) and I also opted for an every other day program. It works out well unless one eats a lot. He needs to be cognizant of his intake vs output. It is much easier to become constipated with this program if you dont stay on top of things. Unless i become ill i do not have accidents and am able to wear regular underware with this program.
Sorry, probably too much information but professionally I had to get control of this part of SCI as soon as possible to be able to get back to work! Not to mention the sense of progress and the ability to control at least this part of having a SCI.
Hope this helps - KK
