Hi everyone, c5/c6 quad here. I believe that i am starting to hold to much urin in my bladder which i think is allowing more spasms. My question to you all is...do u feel that your spasams decreased after you got the supra pubic or did they remain the same? I'm trying to get feedback thank you.

When I had a supra public catheter, I didn't notice any more or any less spasms. When I had it removed, I think my spasms were not as bad as it eliminated the irritation I had in my bladder.

Note: I used the supra pubic 5 years before having it removed.

last thing u should worry about really is fewer spasms with an spc. if u believe your bladder urine residual is rising, get it checked as if it is may well cause u urinary reflux back to your kidneys and kidney damage! This is far greater issue, believe me, it happened to me and now one kidney none functioning. Have not looked back since had an spc, wish i had it 20 years ago!
