so gor the first time in 1yr. i seen my body in the mirror nude..sad sight i never looked in the mirror after a shower cuz ive always sat down but today i stood up in my room with a walker on my weak left side where my left leg wont lock basically the muscles are drooping now my right side i could lock my knee so the leg is much bigger then left side so it looked pretty good besides the fact that i had a slight bend n my knee but i couls straighten that out.i wish n pray my left side comes back like my rightside so i could kinda even out.idk it just kinda reminded me how bad my injury is however i couldnt move at all at first but last few weeks ive been able to move left side so maybe my prayers have been answered but now how long will it take for left side to catch up to right?

It's a crap shoot for what comes back and what doesn't.
The biggest thing is, if and when you get return...go with it. Work those muscles. Use it or lose it absolutely applies. I forget how long you've been injured and whether or not you have therapy. If you don't have therapy ask some members on here what they do. There are plenty of walkers around...many walkers tend to lurk and not post much, so you may need to look around, find one who may have some answers and send a PM
If an idiot speaks in an empty room, do they still sound dumb??

Work as hard as you can with exercise, swimming? Physio exercises? Sometimes it makes all the difference, other times we're not so lucky. But if you don't try you never know.
