Bump for chris - this is actually amazing, Chris is a para who's just won the British championship for able bodied athletes in this cool extreme sport and will hopefully be going on to the world championships against able bodied athletes...... Should be getting a lot more than just a footnote on the disability websites.....

Thanks for bumping this Russ, I missed the original post somehow.

Congrats on your championship Chris! I've never heard of Blokarts, looks like it would be a blast. Good luck on making it over to the US for the world championship.

Thanks for the bumps, chaps!
I won the National B-Series, but had a really good chance of winning the British Open this year as I had shown such strong form in the race series. Almost unbelievably there was no wind for 2 days, so no races, Posted Image.
I love Blokart sailing; it's easy to pick up, but does take hours and hours of practise to get good (I might cover up to 50 miles in an afternoon on the beach, for example).
Sponsorship is sadly very hard to get; it all goes to Olympic and Paralympic sports.
