My son has a baclofen pump. Early this year, he was hospitalized for a high fever, rigidity, and hallucinations. The doctors said it was the flu. Then he went into a coma which he came out of when they reduced his baclofen dosage. The hospital ran every test they could think of but they all came back without revealing the source of the problem. They never tested the pump because the alarm never sounded. The doctor and the manufacturer say the pump wasn't the problem, even though the pump has been recalled by the FDA. Has anyone else had problems similar to this?
