Sorry can't help with your question, although I have had a day surgery general anaesthetic. I recovered quite quickly and although I was driven, I think I could have managed at a push. You should be fine in your wheelchair.

I had All 4 removed at once. The anithesia Propofol stops working as soon as they stop giving you it.
They monitored my vitals for 1 hour after only until my blood pressure was back up to 90 over 60.
Twice now I've had that anithesia, and you wake up alert and refreshed. Not all Druggy & weak like the old anithesia's.
Anyway that was my experience.
Good Luck !!

Haha I dont know!! But oyu can have mine if you'd like! They're so painful. three have already come in really crooked but they said I have to wait for the others to come up a little more. I think Im getting them out the begining of 2012. I refuse to wait until the summer. plus I was in the hospital/rehab all last summer because of the sci, so I refuse to lose ANY time this summer lol

I developed a dry-socket a couple weeks after I had my wisdom teeth out. AAAAAHHHHH! The initial recovery from the surgery was NOTHING compared to this! I had a Frankenstein-sized head from swelling, pain, pus draining. The dentist/surgeon who did the surgery had to just "stab" down with a surgical knife to cut my gum-line to get to the infection. OMG, it was so bad. Just DO EVERYTHING RIGHT and it'll be nothing you can't do piece of cake.

Aw, Ness. Poor girl.
You'll be surprised as time goes on how focused our bodies are, even if our minds aren't. There are times when I've been SO out of it due to various things, and I thought there was no possibly way I could function, like transfer or go pee, but without even fully realizing it, I was doing what I had to do. Many times our bodies work against us, but sometimes, it can be our best friend.

*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*
*I USE a wheelchair, that does NOT make ME a wheelchair!*
