Ok I seem to have developed a bit of a foot problem the skin on the sole of my left foot has split open and also my little toe nail came off today as well. I have no idea why as Im very careful, wear sensible, well fitting socks and shoes etc. My feet are well looked after, nice and clean etc. I wondered if I had an infection but again the skin looks healthy, doesnt look sore in any way and is only on one foot. Any suggestions, what should I do about it? I have so far monitored it, but done nothing active. It is getting bigger though so I dont want it to get worse.
thanks
Lucy

I'm afraid I've got no helpful ideas. It sounds like one for the GP though and I'd suggest getting down there ASAP

Hi Lucy..
It sounds like one of those small things which if left can turn into something nasty..so agree with Russ.
When my husband had a similar foot problem, his was under the heel our doctor refered him to a podiatrist and she has been really great.. She doesnt just treat the problem but looks at the whole foot, footwear, blood circulation and lifestyle.
just a thought.

Yes it is AF. Yiu can use grapefruit seed extract on it, not the side effects of caniston etc plus you can use gse for infections and almost anything you can think of.
