Amazing how random thoughts pop into your head over breakfast... and here's this mornings.

Do you find the amount you eat affects your bowel routine?

Christmas is often the time of excess consumption and of course what goes in has to come out. It's not really something I ever really thought about before but does anyone find they have to adjust their routine to accommodate the third portion of turkey and stuffing over the Christmas celebrations? I've always been really careful on keeping check on my bladder dependent on how much we've had to drink but I've never really done anything when it comes to my bowels.

Have a nice day, and I hope you're all as pain free as possible xxx

Definitely for me on the day of regime I feel a bit bloated and go over to allot of fluids. On the build up I make sure to eat something to keep my bowel movement loose like fruit ect.

I actually had the same thought last week :specool:

It's not the sort of thing I've closely monitored in the past. Are you suggesting we all focus on this subject for Christmas Day and report back here on the forum?

I have to watch how much sugary food I eat. Such as pie, cookie, brownie and fudge. I eat too much of that, it comes out as running :poo: :yikes: , then I have to rush to the nearest toilet and HOPEFULLY get there in time. The same goes for if I mix beer and mexican food too. Lol

Yeah, wh said beer goes with anything? lol

I just have to remember to stay hydrated, because when it's colder outside I tend to not drink as much water as I should.

I WISH I had that food problem at MY house, Irish! Posted Image

Holidays, eating habits...nibble...until I'm just a tad full, then back for more later (sometimes), as for the sweets...until she giggles :)

Tried eating to excess one year, nearly exploded, it's just not worth it...felt worse than a mixed drinks all nighter; yucky :yucky: :yikes: :double-puke: :tape:  :seehearspeak: as for my routine...we rented a tractor, it was not petty :(
