Traveling in an accessible RV is a fantastic way for wheelchair users to get around in a clean and safe environment. There are a few different RVs out there but two seem the best for a wheelchair user. Karen uses a chair and her husband are full-time RVers. Read about what she knows about Recreational Vehicles here.

I'm totally motivated to get one one day...

Are there any accessible vehicles for Hire in your area? We would just need it for a wheelchair passenger.

Here's what I know, I hope this help!

If you want to venture up into British Columbia, Ambassador Motorhomes in Delta (604-946-3696) and Travel Home RV in Langley (604-533-1566) both have accessible RVs for rent. These Class A vehicles have lift access, wide doorways and good pathway access throughout the units, including wheelchair-access to the washrooms.

Check out the 2012 Newmar Canyon Star. Model #3911 was built from the ground up to be wheelchair accessible with lift, roll in shower, etc. The floorplan looks great!
