hey everyone, been a while sence i have been on here, but wanted to share what iam using latley.
its a ems machine that causes muscle contractions where the electrodes are placed on certain muscle groups( arms, abs, legs, back, calfs, etc...) and has a certain program for each area.
its a really cool unit to keep and build muscle in the lower half you cant work out, and i even use it on my arms. it is one heck of a workout for not doing anything!!
here is a link so you can check it out
link: http://www.hammernut...cle-stimulation

it has tons of different modes and settings for a personalized workout.
i have even noticed a loss of spasms after using it.

just figured i would share something that helps me so others can try..
does anyone else use one??

I use something similar (: I use a fes bike. Which is where you place electrodes on you hams, gluets and thighs. I ride about 9.5 miles each time and do it twice a week ( I have to drive about 45 mins to ride so its not really practical to do it everyday) I also am getting something similar to what you have to hopefully use on my abs to help keep those toned (:

I too have noticed reduce spasms because the stimulation wears out the muscles. Its also good for increased blood circulation which in the long run can help with muscle atrophy (:

Ya i think it helps for the long run...
i go to a therapy based recovery place here in washington called pushing boundries where i go twice a week and do lots of exercise like gallelo training, fes bike, a thing that makes me walk, and bunch of other stuff like that... i just got back from germany for stem cell transplant, and being that my injury is only a year old, i hope with the stem cells and all the therapy/rehab stuff, i might notice some improvement :)

I hope you do! thats awesome news. I've even noticed slight improvement with just the fes, I can now (slightly) contract the top part of my abs. Just keep up the hard work (:
