Is thier anyone out there that lives in a small town and haits it. I mean there not wheelchair accessible and your basically the only person in a wheelchair, and it makes u feel like a out cast. It's hard to make friends cause nobody wants to have to deal with someI one in a chair and worry about them. I don't need help with anything unless I can't get in someones house. But when I do go out with people it's hard cause I can't get into places and it ruins it for them. So I just usually stay home and don't go anywhere because of it.

I'm from a small town. I grew up here. So when my accident happened everyone took it pretty hard. I find everyone to be really supportive, and most treat me exactly the same as before I was injured. All my friends still ask to hang out and I still go over to their houses (but have to have help obviously in order to get into some of thier houses). The only thing I would probably say I dislike about living in a small town is gravel roads and that yes, most of the building downtown aren't accessibe because they are insanley old. However, since my accident a lot have decided to put ramps to their door. I kind of enjoy living in a small town though, everyone knows everyone and everyone is friendly (: I like being able to drive through town and everyone wave becasue we all know eachother.
