I am about 20-months post injury & I recently started back to college, this previous semester I was able to work from home. But the time will come when I need to attend class on campus and im nervous whether or not i'll be able to keep up physically.
Anyone have any ideas how to write faster? I'm a C-5 with no hand or finger function.
Also, anybody have any scholarship info? Student loans are kicking my butt!

I'm a C6 student. I have no finger movement, but cant write on my own. However, keeping up with the notes in my calculus and chemistry was damn near impossible. I recommend going to the colleges Disability Support Services (DSS). There you can make a plan and find out what services they can offer you. I get to have a note taker and extended time on tests. basically the note taker means I'm allowed to photocopy someone's notes. just make sure you get someone who takes good notes!

im about to start college in the new year and although i'm only a T4 the DSA assessor has advised that i use dragon dictate to dictate my assignments and use a dictaphone with notetaking software for tutorials rather than have to physically have to write my own notes etc. speak to the Disability Support Services at the uni there may well be some form of funding available to you

I have no finger movement but a pen "sticks" between my index and middle finger.
That's what I'm holding to type very quickly now!

I agree go to disability services, but make sure you get your doctor to print out your disability and sign it.
Also my professors allow a digital voice recorder, it helped me, but make sure you sit up front in class.
Get phone numbers and email addresses from the INTELLIGENT students in case you need extra help...good way to meet the opposite sex too ;) or same sex ;) ;)
