My wife got these for me, and what a difference. On snow and ice my walking is very funny and causes a lot of pain. I can walk 1/2 hour on that stuff before the pain stops me from using my legs. With the polar trax on, I can walk off and on for over 1 hour! The pain level doesn't go to the point of stopping me either.

Polar Trax are made very well and cost around $20. http://www.campmor.c...on-device.shtml

I have way more confidence, and with crutches and/or cane,[studded also] can get most anywhere. I live at 8500' in the Rocky Mountains so these have made a major difference in my mobility !!!
They take a bit of effort to get on and off, but they don't just pop off, when you don't want them to.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
Les
