I was (am) 6'2" and a C4 incomplete. I need a vehicle that I can drive into with the power chair and hopefully get in to underground parking (<7'). The Honda and Chrysler minivans are to restricted in headroom and the bottom grounds out on the approach ramp. A truck would be nice but I want other people to drive at times. A full sized van has to stay out in the snow which makes things bad for 3-4 months of the year. Any ideas?

From what it sounds like you're looking for, this may b your best bet http://www.goshichi.com/ . It allows you the option of locking the factory drivers seat in if an AB wants to drive it, or you can take it out to drive from your wc. Im a fan of the GMC's too.

Wow those trucks are amazing.....we currently have a Crysler minivan, we love that the floor has been lowered because my husband loves being the co pilot instead of always riding in the back. He had always had a fullsized van with the lift that blocked the window, and he couldn't see out the windows once he got in......now he get to see the action.....including how fast I drive

Wow, I can't figure out why to even post anything after seeing that truck!?!
I drive a Dodge Grand Caravan. The floor is lowered so there is plenty of head room going in and it has a side ramp that folds down. I prefer the side ramp instead of a rear ramp. My husband is 6'4" AB that also is able to drive it and he has plenty of headroom. He has trouble fitting into many vehicles bc of his height. Therefore, that was a selling point, in addition to having the interchangeable seats in the front for me to either drive or be a passenger.

We bought a GoShichi truck last summer and love the diversity it offers. We need to drive from MT to AK twice a year and weather is always an issue, so we got a 4 wheel drive. It's a passenger side conversion as I apparently have proven to be an incompetent driver
and my husband really prefers driving the truck instead of the van. We did not like the low clearance the van had; bottomed out everywhere! If you can, check one of these vehicles out.
