Hi Everyone
I have just had my achilles tendon lengthened and a tendon in my foot re-routed to try and improve my walking which has been deteriorating. Also had a bunion done and toe joint fused at the same time.
Does anyone have any experience of this sort of surgery and the recovery rehab afterwards ?
I am currently in a cast below the knee which hopefully will be changed after 6 weeks for a lighter one. I am trying to do exercises on the floor to maintain what movement I can in my hips etc, I usually do a yoga class each week, so I am fairly flexible.
Any tips would be much appreciated !
