I was wondering if anyone knows if a quad has ever completed an Ironman Triathlon? Through my research I have found a couple of walking quads that have, but none that use a wheelchair. I really appreciate any info that people have, thanks.

Wow, I completed a half Ironman Triathlon before my injury but I cant even fathom even attempting one now - kudos to you!! Sorry I dont have any answers for you but wanted to say that to you. I'll check with some of my old training partners and see if I can get some answers for you. Good Luck!!

I don't know of any quadriplegics who have completed an Ironman Triathlon, but I do know of two paraplegics...

Swimming. Handcycle. Racingchair.

I believe Ricky is training at the moment to do the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon again.
